Why a homeowner switches.

Four reasons that come up in every survey conversation.

The problemWhat changes with solar
Electricity bill keeps climbing. Tariff revisions every 1–2 years.Your bill drops to ₹200–₹500 from month one. Locked in for 25 years.
Power cuts during summer. Inverter batteries dying every 2 years.Solar generates during the day, when most cuts happen. Add a battery later for night backup.
Considering an EV but worried about the running cost.Solar makes EV charging effectively free during the day.
Saving in a fixed deposit at 7%.Rooftop solar returns 18–25% annualised over its lifetime — better than any FD.

Two years in, every monsoon check-in still happens.

Things homeowners ask before booking.

Will my house's roof be strong enough to hold panels?
Modern Tier-1 panels weigh about 12 kg/m². Almost every concrete roof in India handles it comfortably. We do a structural check during the free site survey and flag any reinforcement needed before quoting.
What happens to solar generation during monsoon?
Output drops to 30–60% of peak on heavily overcast days. Our annual generation models build monsoon in — your 25-year payback math already accounts for it.
Do I need permission from my neighbours or housing association?
For independent homes, no. For apartments, yes — we help draft the resolution and present at your AGM. See the Apartments & Societies page for the full process.
How does net metering actually work?
Excess power flows back to the grid and earns credit at a per-unit rate set by your DISCOM. Your monthly bill nets generation against consumption automatically.
Can I add an EV charger later?
Yes. Your solar inverter and meter both support EV charging out of the box; we wire the dedicated 7 kW socket as a small add-on later.
What if I sell my house — does the system transfer?
Yes. The system is fixed to the property and the warranty stays in the buyer's name. Most homes sell for ₹3–5 lakh more with solar already installed.
